Terms & Conditions

Last updated: November 7, 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are between you and Rip Society ("we", "us", "the seller"), the operator of the Rip Society Comp Pro service (the "Service"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

2. The Service

The Service lets you upload a collection export (such as a Collectr CSV) and returns estimated market values ("comps") for trading cards, graded slabs and sealed products, based on recent publicly available sold listings from marketplaces such as eBay and TCGplayer. Comps are estimates for general informational purposes only. They are not appraisals, and they are not financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Any decision you make based on a comp — buying, selling, trading or pricing — is your own responsibility.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it updated. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. That includes, without limitation:

  • using the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive;
  • infringing anyone's intellectual property rights;
  • interfering with the Service's security, including introducing malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, or attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours;
  • scraping, bulk-downloading or automated harvesting of the Service or its comp data beyond your own normal use;
  • reverse engineering the Service, reselling or redistributing it, or circumventing plan limits or other technical restrictions.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, branding, logos and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected. Files you upload remain yours; you grant us a limited license to host and process them solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Comp Pro costs $14.99 per month plus applicable tax and renews automatically until canceled. Payments are securely processed by Stripe. Applicable payment terms and tax handling are shown at checkout. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Failed payments pause paid access immediately. Rip Society handles questions about the comp service.

7. Service level

We work hard to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Comp data depends on third-party marketplaces and may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. When access ends, your uploaded files and comp results may be deleted; download anything you want to keep beforehand.

9. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

10. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes will be heard in the courts located there. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not responsible for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
